Hi Everyone, I recently got a 2009 fiesta for driving as I passed 2 weeks ago, I've installed a dash cam and hardwired it. But being the ego filled man I am, I am jealous because out of two other friends, I have the base model version when compared to my other friends who can connect their phones, parking sensors etc. (My fiesta wont even tell me the oil temp) Just to cut to the chase, I know this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to force the car to display

Mrs Turvey surprised me the other day by saying she thought that an outdoor pizza oven might be a good idea for the summer. Surprising in the fact that she's worse than me for wanting to spend money 'frivously' 😃 I've done a wee bit of research into it and I think I know what I want, wood pellet oven with turntable. General Chat 4Am I being ripped off
I put my 2013 focus 1.6tdci into get an oil leak looked at, they said the rocker cover gasket is warped and needs replacing. They say all in the job with the inspection will be charged for four hours of labour and the rocker cover gasket is costing £220 for the part, was told it was a specialty part that had to be ordered direct from ford hence the cost, according to them. I feel like they're ripping me off completely, or am I wrong. Cheers.

Are they quoting just for the gasket or is actually the rocker cover that is warped somehow and needs replacing? That could explain why they’ve said part needs specially ordering from Ford and the higher cost for the job -

Thanks for the info, will have look at the suggested first and see what happens. We noticed one iffy gear change then it lost drive. -

Firstly I'd get a multimeter and measure your car battery voltage. I suspect that it's State Of Charge maybe low. If it is then charge the battery for a minimum of 12 hours with a Smart charger. Some vehicles have had issues with the telematic modem, many were replaced while the vehicles were still under warranty. While the infotainment system does use the modem for OTA updates I'm not aware of a reason why fixing or replacing the telematic unit should have a negative effect on the info system. Any ideas on this Ian ? @iantt -

And for last one week, my auto hold and auto start/ stop function starts working normally, and i dont know why. Is this a common issue in Mk4 models? -
