Roof Ariel

Featured Replies

I am looking to replace my roof ariel to a shorter version.

Does anyone no of a good make to go with that will still give as good a reception as the standard?

Thanks

I suggest you look-up the Richbrook Sabre, which is available in 2 lengths. I have tha longer one at 18 cm., and they are brass with chrome or silver, or black paint. they are shaped like a Samuria sword, curved and pointed, but triangular at the bottom.

Halfords have a black one. the rear face has the "Richbrook" label, and a grub-screw, to nip onto the standard screw you will be left with after you have unscrewed the standard aerial off, so you won't need any of the adaptors provided. An allen key is provided.

Radio reception is unaffected.
