Hi, I just wanted to ask if anyone here knows if I could install a boot release kit into my car as the Fiesta Mk4 1.25 doesn't have one.

It's getting rather annoying to have to use the key to open the boot each time.

    There may be but it's probably going to be more hassle than its worth, do any models of the mark 4 have a remote boot release?

    I don't think so as I have the LX model which apparently is the one with the optional extras as far as I've been told.

    You can buy universal ones off ebay for cheap..

    Not the easiest of things to fit but im sure you could get someone to help :)

    My daughter has a 2001 Fiesta Freestyle, this has a boot release option, aswell as Electric windows, power steering and central locking, as standard with this model. I think this is the face-lift mk5 though.
