thanks for the pics, still no idea, its probably nothing , its not affecting the performance of the car , i can't understand why there's 3 screw holes there

thanks mintalkin , i can see what should be there , have you any idea what it is, and what it's purpose is.

sorry should have explained on earlier post, its an electronicaly controlled butterfly valve which was introduced on the euro 4 engine, if your is an earlier model i do not think they had them so shoud not worry.
