Petrol Smell Inside Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a 2001 Zetec S and lateley i noticed a really strong smell of petrol inside the car, i was driving down the motorway and a big cloud of smoke came out the back this happened a few times when putting my foot down although has not returned. Took it to garage and they checked for leaks and stuff but couldn't make out why.

There is no smell in the engine bay only in the car, however there is this churning noise coming from the passengers side of the car sounds like it is struggling or something.

I look foward to your suggestions

When the smoke appaeared was it white or black smoke?
