They get it in yellow... eww.

So a whole thread to say you don't like yellow?

I like some of the bits on this though. The lower grille looks great, the little 'S' badge in the steering wheel and the exhaust tips look great. I for one think the yellow looks good, but I prefer the US yellow colour.

Essentially, yes. Although it was more a "We don't get yellow over here" thing.

That colour with the titainium x spec body kit and wheels would be alright!

Don't like the front changes on it but love the more vibrant colours that they have over there - esp the Orange

Do you mean this kind of burnt orange Paul?

I do quite like this colour to be fair.

Thought it was more orange than that - oh well, clearly not 'in your face' enough for me! lol

Would have loved that colour, had it on my old p-reg fiesta and probably would have gone for it again given the choice!

Because I'm so cool I just translated the whole Chinese site to see how the specs differ.

Over there the Fez is called the Carnival (no direct translation of Fiesta?) and comes with a 1.3 84bhp or 1.5 102bhp petrol engine

Also, there seems to be entirely different trim combinations. The main pic on the website is a 5dr 'Sport' with ZS alloys and rear spoiler but the standard bumpers.

The trims are Classic, Avantgarde and Sport (which has the cool front bumper with the nostrils) which I think are like Style, Zetec and ZS. (ZS is specced like the Titanium here is but sporty - probably the way it should be!)

Some models get a sunroof but none get the 6 speaker audio system or bluetooth and USB as standard (apart from a limited edition model).

Another thing we don't get is this...

The ballet shoe storage compartment.

Just checked out googles translated version of that page, have been wondering what the curtain airbag option looks like...

Looks pretty cosy :) Still dont have a clue where the passenger airbag pops out from though??? Can't be the glovebox, maybe it rips the dash open to come out?

Yup - don't know exactly where it tears open, but there will be some 'fault lines' in the big flat bit of dash infront of the passenger, so that a section (probably the size of an A4 sheet of paper or smaller) can flap open and release the inflating bag.

....Looking at pics of the dash - I would say it tears open about level with the word 'airbag' and above.

You could always take a baseball bat to the front of yours and find out? ....actually you would probably need to be moving to set it off.....

I would kill for the ballet shoe storage compartment! I could put the manual in there, maybe an air freshener, hard drive, ipod etc etc. basically; I WANT!

Surely there'll be a part for it to shove under the passenger seat?

Surely there'll be a part for it to shove under the passenger seat?

That assumes we have the relevant fixings on the UK model. :(

Even my mum's Kia Picanto has a draw under the passenger seat!!

You say 'even' but something tells me that Kia have to try a little harder at selling Picantos than Ford do Fiestas....

If she wakes up one morning to find her car's been broken into, and a certain underseat storage system is missin, it's completely unrelated...

Lmao love it! Iv noticed we are suppost to have a little storage compartment to the right of the steering wheel (according to the manual), do we ummers like, must be only on the left hand side version. Put it one way, better storage than my Grande Punto, it had the small glove box, thats it!

Hopefully you'll be very pleased to find that the little storage compartment does exist! It's just above and to the right of where your right leg will be when you're driving. It opens towards you - theres a little button to open it inside the 'handle'. :)
