19" Alloys ET 48

Featured Replies

Would 19" 8J alloys with an ET of 48 be ok for the Mondeo ? I think the standard ET is 55.

Will this create any issues or just bolt them on and not worry ?

Cheers.

Should have said my car is 2015 1.5 hatch ecoboost. Has 17" on just now. Looking to upgrade to 19"

Should be fine, but in my experience it's a backwards step harsh ride and  tramlininig, look good though

Would it really be that bad ? Was kind of thinking good wheels for the summer and the 17" as winter wheels.
But would the 19 s really make it that bad ... got me thinking now.

I thought so but it might be an age thing, I also didn't feel the grip was the same, and tyres cost more

It might not be to bad on your 2015 cos the tyres will be narrower than the ones on my old 2011

That's the size I had.

just as an aside the best ride handling combination I've had was sports suspension and 16" wheels
