Hello.... New to this forum 

My wife has a 2011 1.2 ford KA and for a few weeks the engine temp gauge has been going up and down erratically within minutes of leaving the house (before the engine could have even warmed up). Running ok and never actually over heated. Today when driving it crept up a little more than normal (see pic). Could this be a faulty temp sensor? Or maybe something more serious? Any ideas? Thanks in advance
