Sync 3 part numbers

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Well after @Luke_Anderson practically twisted my arm to upgrade to Sync 2 :laugh:, he has now left me behind and installed Sync 3 in his, so naturally I want it too!

Can anyone (or most likely Wilco @JW1982!) let me know what part numbers correspond to the following:

Sync 3 FCDIM and APIM (Nav enabled, unless possible to enable a non-Nav with Forscan?)

Sync 3 Media Hub

I'm trawling through ebay to find a system, but there are a lot of people who don't know what it is they're selling.  While that's potentially good for me, it makes it hard to know if they're selling what I need or not!  Most of them post part numbers though, so would be easier to check that way!

Thankies!

The way I tackled it was to buy from a breaker and ask for the reg and go from what etis says 👍🏻 Mine was from a c-max but the brackets transfer over so make sure to broaden your search to all models 👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah I understood thats what you did from the other thread and I'll be looking into that.

The other avenue I wanted to look down was ebay sellers who were just selling the screen and listing the part number. Mostly it's obvious where it is Sync 2 or 3 by the year of car they say it's from (as most of these are breakers anyway) but I'm trying to bag a bargain as I can't afford £600 for the system!

I'm hoping to collect a few compatible part numbers here so if I run across what looks like a good buy I can cross reference!

You gave me the bug!!

Sorry about that 😂 obviously the rear of the unit has a visual difference from sync 2 so that helps, 2017 / 18 is where you most commonly find one from and most were sat nav although it can’t be added later so make sure it really is. My part number was JJ5T-14G370-GNC
