Gear Knob Top Broken Off 2013 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi.

We have a 2013 Fiesta Titanium 1.0L EcoBoost 5-speed manual, and the other day the plastic top to the gear knob came away. It had been working loose for some time.

What I'm talking about is the plastic insert that fits into the leather covered gear knob, and which shows the pattern of gears available. It is shiny gloss black on top with a chrome-effect edge around it, and it clips into the gear knob with four plastic tabs, all of which seem to have broken off ours. The shape of the thing is hard to describe, but it's a kind of oval shape that bends through 90° in the middle.

Obviously I'm after a replacement for this, because what is now left doesn't feel good when changing gear. Does anyone know whether they're available as a standalone part, or does one have to buy a complete gear knob? If they are available separately, does anyone know the Ford part number please?
