Diamond brite

Featured Replies

Hi

Just after some advice. Bought a 67 plate Mondeo and got diamondbrite paint and fabric protection for pretty cheap with it.

How can I tell it's been done? When I collected the car I had to ask on the handover they didn't mention it and then a valet guy turned up with an aftercare kit and put a sticker in the windscreen.

The car bodywork doesn't bead water like a waxed car would it just pools like normal. The Windows and tyres seem repell water but not the paint. Also the interior fabric seems to just absorb liquids.

Am I right in thinking this hasn't been applied. Does anyone know of any tell tale signs I can check for before I call the garage and lose my head and then look like an idiot if it's been done?

Thanks!

Maybe "pretty cheap" is a clue.
