Ford Focus 1.5 TDCI gear change clunk

Featured Replies

Hello everyone just quick question about my recently purchased focus. When I change from gear 1 to 2 hear little clunk . Read on forum changing rear engine mount could help . But what mount to get as original part is really soft rubber. Clunk I think is heard as well when I press clutch

Hello.

I hear a sort of clunk and the changes are kind of wobbly. A friend with a 2.0 TDCi replaced the RMM with this one: https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-lower-engine-mount-upgrade-focus-st-2013-2014/p/CM5Z6068A/

He says that it completely changed the car and the way that it changes gears. everything seems sturdy, as it should be. The vibration hasn't changed much he says.

But will this part fit the 1,5 tdci?

what mileage does yours have?
