Fiesta ecoboost fuel leak

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I’ve got a 2013 fiesta ecoboost zetec s. I’ve noticed that my fuel gage has been going down very fast recently. On my trip computer it says that my MPG is 38, however when putting petrol in I only managed to get 32 MPG.

Anyone know if this could be a leak or what could cause this?

Thanks

Filling to the brim and recording the mileage between fills a few times at least 3 is the best way of checking your consumption, the difference you are seeing is probabaly the difference between actual and the computer consumption, if its a leak you would smell it, i take it you have no warning lights on,

What do you think your consumption was before you noticed this?

Are younstill driving the same route, same traffic condition?
