slight diesel leak at injector

Featured Replies

Could some one shed a light  on this fault please ? 58 plate focus 1.6 tdci

There appears to be a slight diesel leak that's seems to be coming from under the grey coloured top of the injector, (I mean the piece with the part numbers on) The pipe

is tight so it's not coming from there, & the fuel just sits on the top of the injector itself

thank you

David

Do you mean it's coming from the pipe in the middle of the top of the injector?  That's the leak off pipe, they have some little rubber O-rings to seal which I guess is leaking on yours.  Cheap and easy to replace.

Thank you Tom, I'll take the engine cover off again & check fully, thumbs up if it's the O ring 👍
