Tryed to add boost gauge now cars not starting

 I've done something to ma car was fitting a boost gauge and went to tap into my light switch so hit the red and black on the plug and see i had a live feed so swapped the line over and now my cars not starting and my head lights are on ? And cars not even trying to start have put every thing back the way it was but still saying fault? Any idea bud and sorry to bud u
