Focus ST3 2.0 TDCi LIMP MODE - Engine! SERVICE NOW message HELP!!!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Having a major issue with my mk3.5 2015 Focus ST3 TDCi. I have recently been getting an error come up saying, Engine! Service Now, each time this message appears the car goes into limp mode and i have to pull over and restart the engine. I then set off again absolutely fine, 30 seconds later it does the same thing again. Normally happens once the engine gets to its standard temperature and when I hit 2500 revs. The car has done 35,500 miles and it was serviced 4 weeks ago with no need for further action on any parts. At the same time the air filter was replaced with a standard replacement filter.

The engine service now message will have triggered a code. You need to read the codes first and then come back.

I have this same problem code showing as inlet temp sensor any ideas thanks

Change the sensor and see if that cures the problem.

Any joy with this?
