2005 115bhp tdci into a 2007 connect 75bhp wiring?

Featured Replies

Hi all iam new to the forum. My gearbox has blown on my connect and it isn't running as it should really so I have bought a full doner focus tdci 115bhp to change the engine, box, ecu and key over but the focus wiring harness doesn't have the big black plug 🤔, would the full focus engine loom plug straight in behind the dash or do you need to start cutting the wires up? Also would the newer focus loom work with the black plug on? I won't bother changing the engine if its a cut and join job.

Sorry if this is already on the forum somewhere, I have been searching the net for a couple of hours and can't find much!

Thanks in advance for any help
