MAF and MAP readings

Featured Replies

hi

I seem to be getting a high maf reading at idle. With Forscan, I get a pid of P0101 for the MAF.
The MAP values also seem weird, or maybe they are ok, no pid for the MAP.

The symptoms I am getting are a rough idle and fuel consumption is up

I have attached some values from Forscan and ScanXL  Taken at idle with  engine warm

MK2 Focus 2.0 TDCI 136PS   2005

Thanks for any suggestions

Do you have an after market air filter on this? the oils may have fouled the MAF leading it to read differently. Give it a good clean with electrical cleaner - don't get too close or touch it, mind.

Otherwise, might want to consider buying a replacement MAF.
