Ford Focus Mk2 2009

Featured Replies

hi guys,

Never been on here before but looks fab , I have a 2009 Zetec facelift model ( 1.6 TDCi ) we love its a lovely car except when idling ( which is very constant and great ) but when I start releasing the clutch at about 7oo RPM it jumps up to about 1.1k without any other pedal being touched and kangaroo's around until over 1k RPM then its so smooth , even when driving at speed it never misses a heartbeat . Can anyone shed any light on it ?? there are no warning lights on and starts no issues its only when pulling away please help as its putting my wife off driving it ( thanks for any advice , Dave.

Some cars raise the revs to help stop stalling, and how is your DMF?
