Wondered if anyone could help........

2004 tdci focus MK II 

Every now and again my heater/glow plug will begin flashing and the engine develops a quite severe misfire. If I stop,turn off and restart, it’s ok. This has happened twice, a week apart. I had planned to get glow plugs changed as have struggled to start on cold mornings. Don’t think it’s related but they needed changing anyway......

Any ideas/info very much welcome

    May be nothing at all to do with the glowplugs.
    You need to have any fault codes read and go from there.
