Kuga self leveling xenon headlights

Featured Replies

Please help my self leveling headlights are no longer leveling themselves

Problem started lest weekend when i took my car to have steering rack replaced the mechanic disconnect the drivers headlight while it was switched on to top up the power steering fluid after that both light dropped to the floor

Anyway its been to ford main dealer today no faults came up and they adjusted the headlights manualy so they came back up but now they will not self level when i reverse down my drive ramp they point in the air

Been in touch with Ford again they said there is nothing wrong with them

I ve owned this car for 4 years i know what the headlights used to be like they used to adjust up and down when driving

could be a misaligned sensoron the front suspension, if ford have just connected up diagnostics and its reading as it there then as far as they are concerned all ok a look underneath is whats needed, shot in the dark but thats my twopenneth.

They may need to check the self leveling sensors on the suspension , as the front subframe will have to been lowered to get steering rack out.
