Sync3 Radio muting level with navigation

Hi All,

       I have a Mondeo 2017 with Sync 3, I use Waze via Apple Carplay for navigation which works great. The only issue I have is that when Waze talks the radio volume reduces so far that I can't hear it, I know this is the correct behavior, but I would like it not to reduce by the current amount. in my previous non-Ford car this was an option, but I can't find such an option on the Sync 3 or my iPhone!

I can reduce the announcement/waze volume but this doesn't increase the Radio volume. 

Is there such an option?
