My 2011 focus Estate is leaking rainwater through the rear offside vent onto the retractable parcel shelf. Has anyone had this problem?

    I would start by checking around hinges, cable grommet and body seam sealer. I've actually had the seam sealer fail on my wife's car. Funnily enough that was under the tailgate too but on a Grande Punto.

    The best way to find it is to remove the interior trim and leave a hose running on the roof until you can see where it's entering. I've had leaks in a few cars over the years including my current mk3 Focus, it is annoying!!!
