Morning guys new on here ,and my first Ford.

Anyway i bought a 61 plate powershift mondeo diesel estate mostly for family and hobbies.

Now the car has been over revving while driving normally in a lower gear ,one Example spray from a lorry so i went to overtake,  indicated and pulled out next thing, high revs car going no where  i thought ***** wtf as young family in the car , it kicked in again then i came up to bypass turn off pulling away car seemed to over rev then kinda died a bit ,i thought it was going to stop in the middle of traffic lights  an no dash lights came on  on either .

Its happened 4 times last time was yesterday .pulling away car seemed to over rev but then speedo seemed to like flicker up an down car kinda went and stopped kinda thing .

Any you guys kind enough to give us a rough outlook into problem  appreciated.

Its going on computer this morning just to see if anything wrong thats not came up .

Is it a manual or auto gearbox, it sounds like clutch slip.

Cheers Billy boy Sorry its an Auto powershift , we plugged it into a computer as said before nothing light wise was on dash but we have a fault code hopefully thats all it is and seemingly its full gearbox out sent away. Sensor inside it something to do with torque speed sensor it doesnt know what speed gearbox needs to keep up with engine or along those lines luckily/hopefully warranty should cover that, as its only month since it was bought .
