my wife has a 2014 plate ford ka metal. The boot keeps unlocking while she is driving. Can hear what I think is a solenoid of some sort activating when this happens. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know how to fix it? Happy to do the work myself if I know what part needs replacing???

    Check the wiring loom for damage between the boot and the chassis.  Very common on the Ka & 500.

    Most of the basic parts should all be interchangeable, it's mainly just cosmetic parts that are different as far as I know.
