Well despite working Saturday morning and having a lie in today i managed to fit a centre console with leather armrest from a Titanium model and a set of genuine Ford mudflaps which i think suit the car. While the wheels were off (found it easier) i cleaned the arches, suspension and chassis, etc and inside the wheels (again)

I also bought a clear protective film for the rear bumper lip which will be fitted next weekend when i've washed the car

I've now had the car for 3 months, usually at 2 months i'm bored with a car and at 3 months i'm trading in for another but with this i'm still wanting to "improve" it as i'm hoping to keep it for a while yet.

I'm trying to keep with genuine Ford accessories/ upgrades where possible so no "tat" will be fitted but i'm now struggling to decide what to do next as i don't want to overdo it. I'm still trying to get hold of a red Mountune secondary hose to match the primary hose i fitted (Mountune still out of stock) then i'd like a remap, Mountune don't do 1 for the 140 so it'll be a warranty voiding Superchips or  Pumaspeed unless Revo hurry up and release theirs

I have the mudflats also and they fit really well. Where have you got the boot lip film from please Rob?

Do they do mudflaps now for the st and st lines , do they fit 2017 or is only 2018 models?

Mine is the 2018 model, not sure if there are flaps available for the MK7 models

Yes Ford do official mudflaps for the ST/ST-line (although they say it doesn't fit ST it does), I've got them on my ST.

They won't fit a Mk7 though, totally different bodykit/fixings.

The instruction show it covers the top flat part of the bumper and has to fold over the lip by approx 1cm

Instruction say to clean bumper, spray water over area, peel backing off strip, spray back of strip with water, put it in place and squegee to remove excess water and air bubbles

I'm not sure how a pic will turn out as it's clear 🙂

about installing footwell lights, mine came without it , to install it would it be just plug and play or you have to play with the wiring ?  🙂 🙂

Plug and play, very easy to do and takes max 10 mins if you can get the wires out easily. When i fitted mine, it appeared that in a RHD car, the driver side wire was a bit difficult to get out but from other comments, on LHD cars it was super easy

As DG87 says the wires are already there to plug the lights into an the slots which the housings click into.

The passenger side takes seconds to do but the drivers side can be awkward if you don't know ehere to look for the plug. I removed the headlight switch/ coin tray tril for easy access - (1 bolt then pulls off), doing this means you can see the connectors and unclip it easy which is a pain if you try from under the steering column

Lights are approx £10 each from dealers (LED as well)

Worth adding that the lights bought from the dealer also match the light blue colour of the other lights in the vehicle which gives quite a decent look overall

And they fit in the holes already there for a factory look unlike the stick on ones 🙂

aha that's great @robbyvrs @DG97 thank you very much , but I'm still struggling to find the wires 😂😂 , my car is LHD ,so as you say the passenger side at least should be easy to find , I looked there and couldn't find !!! can it be that my car version is not equipped with that connector wire ? !!

In a LHD car, there were people reporting that it is far easier to find the wires on both sides than on the RHD so there's a good chance you'll find it quite easily. It is super unlikely for the wire not to be there. The wire won't be dangling down loosely but instead is "plugged in" to a plastic connector where you will need to disconnect the wire from. My best recommendation is to just get your head under with a flashlight and look for a wire plugging into a plastic connector. There is only one, and I don't think it's possible to confuse the wire for anything else. It shouldn't be difficult to find 🙂
