Mk2 st boost issues

Featured Replies

Hi guys don’t suppose anyone can help.

Currently experiencing boost issues. My stage 3 st was boosting to 1.2 bar now only to around 1/4 of that! Cars v underpowered. The code u2023 is constantly on even after clearing codes and TC light is on and can’t turn off. Car also stalls after idle and splutters. Had the map sensor changed as garage thought it was that to no avail. EML light also comes on from time to time. Any help would be appreciated

The ESP/TC light on with a code of u2023 there was a bulletin that points to "an insufficient tube connection between the turbo charger and intercooler."

Check for leaks between turbo and intercooler, visually check the pipes for splits/cracks if it’s possible for you to do it, if not you can have the system smoke tested for any leaks, bit more expensive but it will find any leaks that are in the system. This may or may not be your problem, but if it’s not at least you will know your intake, turbo/intercooler pipes and vac lines are all in good order.

Hope you get sorted mate![emoji106][emoji106]
