Rear parking aid

Featured Replies

The rear parking aids on my wife’s Focus CC has stopped working. I have checked “ticking “ of sensors with ignition on and car in reverse but nothing. Reversing light works so think it may be parking aid module, can someone tell me of its location and what needs removing or am I barking up the wrong tree.

Hi Clive

Mine is behind the panel in boot passenger side,

the bleeper speaker is under side panel near rear seat belt on drivers side.

has to problem I would change module and take it from there

Any sound coming from the sounder, this is the clue, if it is a single long tone then your sensors are at fault.

If one sensor packs in then the module just shuts down, it is a case of unplugging each one until you get to the faulty sensor.
