Any help appreciated you will have to bear with me as it’s a long story, drove over 200 miles over the bank holiday weekend to go and visit family as we were just about to leave I noticed my horn wasent working, lifted bonnet and saw that the expansion tank was leaking .....as it was bank holiday managed to do a quick fix, on the off chance I checked the air filter to see what state it was in and it looked okay so reassembled the air box and was all good. Nipped out to the shop in the car and when returning I’ve started the car and it’s started then cut out no throttle response the car shakes as it try’s to struggle to keep running, had to get recovered by the AA, they did have a look at the car and without even doing a diagnostic he diagnosed it being the fuel pump, I’m not very certain that it would be as the car starts but then just cuts out any help appreciated

If it starts - runs and dies it does sound like it could be fuel delivery, could be a lot of things though.  You'll really need any logged or pending DTC's read to point you in the right direction, surprised the AA man didn't offer to plug in.
