radio upgrade to sat nav

i just I currently have the standard sony DAB bluetooth radio on my fiesta titanium, I want to upgrade to one with sat nav my question is if I buy radio with sat nav from a fiesta 2013 or newer will it work 

for my car (2012) if the wiring is the same? even seen many options for sales but unsure if this will work.... if someone has done this before or know if it works il be intrested to know.

There’s lots of threads and guides on here - do a search.

Bottom line: it’s difficult to install a facelift radio on a prefacelift car as the looms are different.  Better off looking for a prefacelift SatNav and Sync module. The lights will also match the existing lights in your car.

Its not really possible on the pre-facelifts. They were never fitted with satnav from the factory so retrofitting was always difficult due to wiring issues and activation. People on here have got it working, however a couple also couldn't and gave up.

Theres also no Sync module on the pre-facelift, just the conventional bluetooth module. If you do install satnav, I'm not sure if you will get sync to work if you install it. The wiring loom will need to be added as it communicates a fair bit with the ECU compared to the normal bluetooth module.
