New shock absorbers required!🙈

Featured Replies

Sorry me again!lol! got my focus serviced yesterday got told both my rear shocks are leaking and need replacing so I wanted to ask should I just replace with normal stock ones (I.e budget Ebay ones) or can you guys recommend a better replacement?

Is it standard or lowered?

If standard, cheap shocks will do the job, although I'd stick to a recognised brand personally.

If lowered and looking to update the shocks I'd recommend Bilstein B8s.

TomsFocus its standard not been lowered could you tell me some decent brands other than Ford original parts which will cost twice as much?

My mechanic advised to use KYB. Stay away from Monroe, tend to rust too fast. Bilstein in general is also good.

SACHS is a good make also and compatible with any mods to suspension.
