Mk2 Head Unit Control Stalk Help

Hey guys, 

I have the Mk2 Focus with the square head unit. Just going through the process of putting an aftermarket one in and about to get all the parts ordered, however, everywhere seems to be throwing up two types of wiring adaptors for the control stick. 

So I have the control stalk, the one that is just below the indicator stalk. There are no controls on the steering wheel itself. Could you just point me in the right direction for which of these two I need??? Or do I need both?

Also in my old car, I had to swap over the Red and Yellow ISO Harness wires so the headunit would save my settings.... do I need to do this on a Focus aswell?

Do I need another cage? If so, could anyone point me in the right direction to something on amazon. 

 

I used to just bang in a single din unit and away I went.... I swear it never used to be this complex. haha.
