Immobiliser Error - Service Immediately

Featured Replies

Hi hoping someone knows a solution to this.

Heading to work this mornibg, started the car fine, then realised I’d forgotten something I turned off the engine, took the key, ran inside the house, grabbed something and ran back to the car.

Went to start it and nothing happened. Tried a few times then the Sync flashed up “immobiliser error service immediately” then vanished.

It now won’t start at all. But all the lights, stereo, Bluetooth, locks etc are working fine.

Anyone know what might have happened? Stuck on the drive unable to get to work and no garages are open (7am). Will call out the AA otherwise

Thanks

I have a similar problem.

My car is a  Fiesta ST 2015 - it shows Immobilizer malfunction, but the vehicle starts and drives, locks everything but error still displays?

Also, is there any way of turning down the beep/chime volume?   I do have Forscan.

Did you fix this?

Nope, and no-one has replied.  Driving around in a beeping car still.

I've never seen an immobiliser fault where you could still drive, that kind of defeats the purpose!

Does Forscan show any fault codes?

Yep. it's weird.   No fault codes.

Have you tried another key?
