MK3.5 2015 Lower Door Seals Detatching

Featured Replies

At work we've got a 2015 Focus 1.5 Diesel pool car. For some odd reason both front door seals have started coming away from the lower edge of the door and are "catching" between the door and the sill. From what I can see the seals originally had a self-adhesive strip on the top, but by now this has obviously failed and been covered in crud.

What's the best way to reattach these door seals?

3M tape.
Sounds like too much jet washing to me.

Looking at the usual state of the things I doubt is had much cleaning, but its possible someone was "over enthusiastic"

By 3M tape you mean heavy duty double sided stuff?

Yep.
Standard double sided won't cut it.
