Bonnet lip re painted

Featured Replies

Repainted my bonnet lip today as the last job was horrendous and touched up with brush strokes. I'm actually quite impressed with my work today 🙂

Looking great pal, i sprayed mine a few years ago but it kept getting stone chips, it looked terrible, so I wrapped it with carbon fibre wrap, it's stayed lovely ever since.

I agree cos when I had the lip off I had cleaned up all the old sticky stuff and dirt in there as I had new sticky pads and it looked so weird lol the black breaks it's up. The lugs break so easy though I had to put screws in then snip the end off with pliers then Dremel a hole into the broken lug and screw it back onto the screw fun and games.

Did you do the vents yourself> I want vents on mine but not sure i trust anyone to do it lol.

I've had them done over 2 years now, by a guy who has fitted literally hundreds over the years, he is a totally professional guy. He travels all over the UK arranging meets for people who want them fitted. I don't know if he's still doing them, try searching Facebook for "Nick ST parts" he's the man you need to get in touch with.
