Ford focus 1.6 tdci 2008 no power and black smoke.

Featured Replies

Hey guys, i have a serious problem for over 2 weeks and i cant figure it out. My car blows black smoke and it doesn't have power until 1700-1800 RPM. I changed the turbo, MAF sensor , EGR , cleaned all pipes from EGR and intercooler , new filters... What i've seen on tester is that my EGR has the same value and it doesn't change. The EGR was changed 2 weeks ago, brand new Valeo. I can modify its values from forscan to close or open. no error codes on it...

It's seems to be common for the intercooler pipe to split near the bracket closest to the engine it could be hairline. check for any signs of oil.

Ok, i think i found something. is this thing normal ? What is the name of it ? Its underneath the egr cooler.

That module in the middle looks like a fuel pressure regulator.
