Mk6 fiesta tdci

Featured Replies

I have recently bought a mk6 fiesta tdci , I would like to hopefully install a filter to the recirculate valve in hope to make the car sound better , however I'm not sure if this would stunt the performance of the car or potentially cause damage in the long run

Any info would be great

I assume you mean a blow off valve for the turbo?

Diesel turbos dont spool up in the same way that a petrol turbo does; they dont create vacuum or excess pressure to be expelled via a BOV although some people persist in fitting such item they generally create bios leaks and impact performance.

Your better off fitting s hybrid turbo and bigger map sensor to increase performance if you want to upgrade the vehicle and get an increase for your money heres a good website for parts:

Cheers will have a look now .

They do an induction kit also through that website. Can't guarantee you'll get the blow off sound but someone on YouTube I believe got one of them induction kits and you can here the pshoo sound when he let go at high revs.

If I was to buy that filter what would i do in terms of the blow off valve since this filter does not connect to it like the original would

The oil breather pipe?

They have an oil catch can for that which prevents contamination of the turbo inter cooler pipes

Full kit here:
