Hey guys

So car has been fine all night, boosting 1.5 bar as usual remapped to 133... little to no smoke... got a ram air induction kit too so nice induction noise. I am now getting a loud hissing and quite abit of black smoke.. and only boosting 0.5-1 bar which yeah it does feel more sluggish.. what do I need to look out for here?? Anyone recognise the plate EY56 ZLK? I’ve bought the car and tire had several owners and private plates.. engine is on 71k so not sure what the issue is here... thanks guys what can I look out for?

Boost leak, check all the pipes between the turbo & intake first.

 

i thought the mileage sounded a bit low. Unusual to find a diesel that old with mileage at that level.

I checked the mot history and the mileage reduced by 40,000 from 2012-2103.

even if the mileage is really 40k more (plus what was driven between 2012-2013) it is still not massively high

I didn't take any notice of the plate originally, I do recognise it though, it's a stanced sea grey one on BBS rims with a visible intercooler iirc?  Although it may have changed since I last saw it.

If so, it's previous Cat C and the clocks have been replaced.  It had done nearly 100k back in 2016 so more likely 120kish by now.
