Had a new clutch fitted to 2005 1.25 zetec week little just wont idle cuts out, undriveable can anone help, got code p031

    P0031 is the heater control for the lambda sensor. Maybe the wiring was damaged or the connector dislodged when they did the clutch? Also give the throttle body a clean.

    I would be surprised if P0031 stops it idling. Do you mean it will never idle even when warmed up?

    I don't think heater control for lambda sensor would stop it idling when warm (not even sure if it would when cold - I think it would just mean the emissions were not the best they could be)
