2010 Fiesta AUX says 'line in active' all the time.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I recently got a new fiesta and the aux setting on the radio always says 'line in active' despite there being no line in. I can connect to bluetooth and it works for calls but I can't play music. I've tried the aux port that doesnt work either. I've even disconnected it and it still says 'line in active'.

I had a fiesta previous to this so I'm sure it's not user error. Other thing is my steering wheel controls don't work so this may be related.

Other things I'm not sure if they're relavent:

The climate control sensor stays on when the climate control is off and stays on when the ignition is off for ~15 mins.

The lighter socket doesn't turn off when the ignition is off.

When the ignition is off but the clock is still on, there is a very faint static sound from my speakers.

Any advise much appreciated.

Thanks
