2012 Fiesta Metal Tail Light Issue

Featured Replies

Anyone had any issues with the tail light on this style of fiesta?

The light is working when the brake pedal is pushed, but isn't staying on when the headlights are on or when I unlock the car.

Don't think it's the bulb as it works with the brake.

Any ideas welcome thanks!

It's a double filament bulb so possible one half has failed. Hence why it gets brighter when you press the brake with the light on otherwise you wouldnt be able to tell if someone was braking or just had their lights on.

However it's unlikely both tail lights have gone at the same time so I'd check the fuse first.

Thanks for the reply mate, i've got LED lights in them at the moment, would that mean its probably the fuse?

Trying to find a good diagram of my fuse box at the moment, my manual seems to have gone walkies.
