My 2ltr auto 2006 power steering pump is makinga very high pitch noise not loud but can hear it when I am sat with window down but if I turn steering slightly it goes and when let go it returns.

so decided to change pump its electric behinde head light I have taken light out and took pick of plugs 20190917_131900.thumb.jpg.838ca0d44b7efb05e478651c28e56846.jpg so went on to Ebay yes can find the pump But what is difference between 4M51 3K514 BD and 4M51 3K514 BF these are the two pumps they look the same.

any help appreciated

    The last digit of the part number suffix represents the revision of the particular part. 

    In this case part number 4M51-3K514-BF is just a newer/improved version of part number 4M51-3K514-BD. These part numbers are fully interchangeable.
