Accelerator pedal removal

Featured Replies

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the hard black plastic fascia underneath the diagnostic port located just above the drivers footwell. I have a 2008 focus 1.8tdci & i am attempting to change the throttle position sensor which i have been reliably informed is attached to the accelerator pedal. I have disconnected the TPS from its connector & removed the lower mounting screw attached to the accelerator pedal. I am unable to remove the top two mounting screws on the accelerator pedal due to the aforementioned housing which is clearly blocking not only my viewing of these nuts but also not allowing me the space to get a spanner/socket in there to remove them. Any help would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks in advance....
