Folding mirrors

I have just bought a Fiesta 1.4 Zetec, I have set the mirrors to fold on lock, however, only the drivers side folds, can anyone tell me please if this is correct or should both mirrors fold.

    both on my grandsons his is 1.25 petrol

    Both should fold, motor failure is not uncommon, nothing is repairable its new unit time luckily its easy to do, but first check the wiring to the door often can break in the flexible bit.
