2015 Fiesta not starting

Featured Replies

Hi! I bought my car second hand about 2 months ago and have had no problems until one day I went to start my car and it wouldn’t start. There was nothing, no sound at all.  I tried again a few times and then finally it started. I turned it off and tried it again and it was fine. The next day I tried it again and it would go. Again, no sound just absolute silence. The radio, lights, fans all work so I highly doubt it’s the battery. I left it all day and when I got home I noticed I couldn’t move the shifter from park either. I’ve tried replacing a fuse and a relay but that did nothing. Wondering if anyone has had any similar problems? I’ve also tested the battery and it’s fine. The weird thing is the shifter not moving from park (my break lights work fine) and the car not making a sound when turned in the start position.
