liamstears
Got some questions I hope someone technical can help with I have recently upgraded to an android head unit and having quality with the reversing camera On stock head unit aftermarket camera were a bit "grainy" but the factory one looked perfect, now on my new android head unit aftermarket cameras look perfect but the genuine one is quite grainy and doesn't look great but it's the only way to keep the moving reversing lines My theory is ford are using a slightly different standard of signal than normal so this causes the difference, any know what this difference may be or how I can convert the genuine camera signal into something that my new head unit will like? Really hope someone can help
zain611
Does the camera send information to the head unit wireless / wired? Picture quality most likely comes down to the camera. I fitted a aftermarket reversing camera and monitor on my car and I upgraded the camera and noticed the improvement in image quality. Wired It's some sort of compatibility issue, it's a stock camera so it's quality is not an issue

All the best..........solved mine by a camera that would push 4.3'' signal which was hard to find.
