Hi guys I have a Ford fiesta st mk 6 2l 16v.. Car refuses to start.. Wen I turn the key my dash light come on like normal but nothing happens wen I turn the key to start.. But wen I role car and kick start it starts up and runs fine.. The starter is not turning its just dead.. Never had any problems with starter before.. Please help

    Friend had this exact thing happen to his older Polo recently and it turned out to be the small cable to the starter solenoid had corroded and come apart and when he re-crimped it the car fired straight up.  If all the wiring to the starter is solid then I'd suggest that the solenoid or starter is dead.
