fiesta_lad Posted March 17, 2010 Share Posted March 17, 2010 Hi i know this is the ford forum but ive got a question i would like to ask my girlfriend dad has a 1.2 s reg clio about 2 weeks ago he had a whole new exhaust fitted today i was in his car and i noiced a very loud roaring noise when he goes over 20mph its sounds like hes got a big fat exhaust fitted but he hasnt its just a standard exhaust fitted by kwick fit. so after abit of inspection by the exhaust while the engine was running it sounds very blowe now hes been back to kwick fit and they said its fine to me its sounds fcuked any one know what this can be cheers alan. AndrewL Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 I'm about as far from an expert as you can get but seeing as it's only come on once the new exhaust has been fitted it sounds like it's blowing from one of the joints between two sections of the system and it needs resealing.
