Water In Passenger Side Rear Footwell

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have recently noticed a lot of water in the rear passenger side footwell, I have seen a few different things it could be on this forum like the scuppers being blocked, air con pipe dislodged, or could be the doors possibly? Just want to know where I can find the scuppers to check this? And also the best way to dry it out properly if anyone has done this.

cheers

I have just noticed the same on the Drivers Side. Have removed that section of the Rear Seat and some trim. Lifted the Carpet up and dried as much as I can.

Have looked underneath no signs of damage etc. Will report more tomorrow when have better light.

Very odd, my car is only 6 years old so damage on the underside surely can’t be the problem, just managed to get some cat litter silica gel a friend said it’s really good for soaking up the water.

Yeah am curious to find out, Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

If you've got manual windows worth checking the window hasn't been knocked down a little by accident. Even a small bit down could break the seal and let water in.

Every time I put the back seats down I find the windows open a crack.

I have checked the windows they seem okay, there has been lots of rain the last few weeks, if it hasn’t been so bad I could’ve ruled that out.
