I Got The Job!

Featured Replies

As some of you may well know, i applied for a different position within the Sainsbury's store i work at part time, At the moment i'm on checkouts which is about as thrilling as something that isn't thrilling.

I applied for the position of pharmacy counter assistant and i have got it!

I was (surprisingly) the only one who applied for the job and the store manager didn't feel the need to interview due to what my manager told her!!

A happy chappy indeed :)

Well done m8

Good stuff dude!

More money?

Free drugs?

My dad has been a pharmacist for about 55 years lol!, so it can't be that bad a job!

A little more money, 2 more hours a week so that gives me £350 a month :)

Free drugs? Erm....sure!!

Well done fella - that sounds much, much more interesting. Maybe it will inspire you to become a pharmacist.

Can you read bad/doctors' handwriting? It's part of the job

It will be more interesting. I spend the first six months working through a handbook and then i'll have a qualification in.....something pharmaceutical!!

I am yet to experience pharmacists handwriting, but i'm sure it will be as bad as i think it will be!

Cheers matey :)

Yay. Now you can save for a mark.7! :P

Pah! Nooo, not quite yet!

You can start dishing out some of the stuff my employer makes :)

Congratulations Michael... just make sure you get your doses right and don't kill any grannies!

Aph, do you have school on a Saturday? If so, hideous!

Oh yes.... Have had school on saturday from 0800 to about 1600 for the past 5 and a half years or so.... Aren't I lucky!!!

Well done :D

What about your Sunday meets now though :o

Fantastic! A round on you at the pub on this next meet then! :P

I've had a similar proposition today. My boss is thinking of making me administrator for the W/R Deliver department at our store. Which means on 1 or two days a week I won't be a driver, but I'll be running the department. B)

Ohhh who do you work for then? At a stab, GlaxoSmithKline?

We've discussed this before, it's because you go to a ponsey school and the rest of us are common!!! :P

Well done :D

Cheers :) And meets on Sunday are pretty much a no go now :( Unless they carry on after 5/6pm depending on where they are located! I'll try and push for a Saturday one soon :)

I bet you're clever though as a result!

Yeah I guessed but it was funny imagining it though. Do you have to ask whether 'it's for you' and whether 'you've ever taken it before'?

I work for someone who's not likely a common household name (but $21bn turnover), as we don't make Lucozade, washing powder or Viagra ;)

If you're dishing out the drugs from us, those people are possibly very, very unwell.

Haha! "er,,,yeah i don't know how much so just take the whole box"

From observation, i think i have to ask "have you taken these before?" "are you on any other medication?" "whats your address?" blah blah

I can't wait to have a car that FINALLY brakes in a straight line and doesn't wobble at 55mph!!!

I can't wait to have a car that FINALLY brakes in a straight line and doesn't wobble at 55mph!!!

When I had the car (first time round lol) there was a slight wheel wobble at about 70mph. But after I got 4 new tyres it soon solved the problem. :)
